Blessed Solstice
Every ending is a beginning. The light fails and then the light returns. Somewhere in any darkness, there is always a beacon.
The world seems a cold, hard place sometimes, and very hard to bear. But always comes the reminder that there is warmth and love and kindness: from friends yes, but from perfect and total strangers as well. We owe thanks to many.
We are blessed this season, in so many ways. Today and tomorrow we mark the ending of a cycle and the return of the light. In just a few days we will celebrate the goodness and joy of giving that Christmas means to us.
Things are never easy or simple, and probably never will be for us. But we will try always to treasure every joy, every special moment, and every day we have together.
