Let’s Get It In Gear
I lie awake at night thinking of things I want to write about. I have a little notebook with some of those ideas jotted down. I have things to say, to gripe about, to brag about and to just get out there. What I seem to be lacking in is time, or motivation, or maybe a little bit of both.
I’ve edited the site and added something. I have all these projects in the works that keep my free minutes occupied, or keep my hands busy when I’m otherwise sitting still and not folding laundry or something. Occasionally there’s a project that’s actually a necessity, like jackets for the guys or diaper soakers for RM. So over there on the right, the far right, just under the recent posts list, there’s a new little heading. See it? It’s a list of my projects that are actually underway. It doesn’t include anything I have fabric or yarn or a pattern for that isn’t started. I also left off a few things I just don’t want to admit to for a variety of reasons: like maybe stuff I started over a year ago. It’s a list of things actually partially in progress. Quite a list isn’t it?
Eventually, there will be a list just above or below it of things that are completed. The plugin won’t let me create the list until there’s something I can add to it, and I want to only add 2007 completed projects. So it will be there soon. Give me a break, it’s only January 4th you know!
So how’s my mood, the funk I’ve been in? Well, up and down. Sometimes it’s best not to dwell on “stuff,” but instead just blindly forge ahead and hope for good things.
Gotta go for now, have to get a book requested from me on Paperback Book Swap into the box before the mailman gets here.
