Tribute to a Little Friend

Today we lost a tiny member of our family, the boys’ little Gerbil, Lando.

Lando had been with us for nearly 3 years, which is a very long time for a Gerbil. So he was not a young thing, and we believe he finally just gave in to old age.

He was actually a sweet little guy with an awful lot of personality for such a little thing. He could always be counted on to stare at you inquisitively every time you walked by. He created his own bedding by shredding toilet paper tubes. He was happiest running up your arm and around the back of your neck. He only bit you when scared. He was peaceful and quiet, except for tiny nibbling noises in the wee hours of the night.

You will be missed very much Lando. Rest in peace little guy.
