This Struck Me as Funny
I was driving home this afternoon down a back road to my little suburb. A long stretch of it has fields, huge front yards and a very wide, grassy shoulder. There’s a riding stable along the route, and several homes with barns and horses.
A young lady was riding a beautiful horse along the shoulder. It was a lovely animal, well groomed and looking healthy and energetic. The young lady was wearing a cowboy hat, and appeared to my untrained eye to be seated well and riding properly.
She was also talking on a cell phone.
