Something Finished

I completed something, I actually completed a project. I have been so very much in to starting new things lately, I’m quite proud of myself for finishing something.

These are the current project for the Six Sox Knitalong group, called Horcrux. They were a very fun knit, challenging enough to not be boring, simple enough that I could do them. They fit great too, and are very comfortable.

The yarn is Panda Wool in the colorway Basil Curry. I very much like this yarn, it’s easy to work with and less pricy than some of the better sock yarns out there (which of course is a big thing to me.) I wore them Sunday and again today. I’m assuming it’s the bamboo content that makes them more comfortable to wear than a heavier wool sock would be this time of year.

I hope that I can stay motivated to finish more things and not dive into anything new for awhile. Obviously it’s nice to have completed socks to wear around, but my life in general could use more completion and order, and less of the chaos.
