I’m still around, just trying to knit up a couple of projects as soon as possible. Of course, around here that isn’t all that soon, what with everything else going on in this house.

RM went on a cloth diaper strike after I used disposables for about a week when the washing machine was acting up. I gave in to her for awhile, but have re-adjusted her to wearing cloth again now. I think the bulkiness was bothering her, but careful folding and fastening helped. Unfortunately, in the time we were out of the cloth, she outgrew all but a couple of her wool covers. It was only a couple of months, but she has really grown fast lately!

So I’m trying very hard to get at least a couple more soakers made up as quickly as possible. I’ve been knitting until my shoulders and forearms ache something fierce, and my index finger is sore as can be from pushing and adjusting the needles. But I’ll get there soon and be able to jump back in to finishing socks and all the other fun things I have on the needles.
