Pennies from Heaven
This morning I attempted to run several errands but had to abandon most of the quest after learning that the ATM card has once again been demagnetized, and that I had left my JoAnn coupon at home.
I managed one stop with the cash I had left on hand, and was in the car calculating the bare minimum I needed at the grocery store to get by until Monday morning. In the meantime, SW appropriated the coins from my change.
I asked him, “What if I need that to have enough at the store?”
He answered, “Then I’ll lend it back to you.”
How does that work? He takes it away from me, I have to borrow to get it back. No wonder I’m broke.
He did say he’s saving up to buy us all breakfast this weekend. Maybe in this case I’ll let it go as a case of the ends justifying the means.

Kids are funny about money. When Jaime was younger we’d go to the store and she’d want something out of the machine and I’d ask ” Did you bring your money?” “No” I told her she could borrow some till we got home and she could give me her money.
“But that’s my money”. :-/ I hear you on the Joanns coupon.
It would be nice if SW had enough to go out for breakfast!
