I Should Post More

I want to post more. Life if just so very ordinary these days. I get up, I work, I clean, I knit, I cook. That’s about it. Sometimes we take a walk. Or watch a movie. Or read a book. Nothing exciting. Just life. Sweet, simple, ordinary life.

Tonight RM is feeding me tinkertoys from a play fork. In a little while we will probably go outside and run off a little energy. Later we will put in a DVD and snuggle in bed so I can try to sleep. She will probably pick her latest favorite - “Yellow Submer” (Yellow Submarine). We skip the “blue meanies” part at the beginning.

It’s quiet and comfortable. And it’s good.

If it is good, then what more do you need to say? I’m glad you are all settling in and getting more comfortable with your schedules. Wishing you lots more quiet and comfortable and good.

Welcome

I am a Mom, but Not Only a Mom. Somewhere underneath the daily routine of kids and home and obligations, there's still a person, an individual. I'm a knitter, crocheter, seamstress, would-be writer, and a woman. And even being a Mom is more than Only a Mom; it makes you a creator, cook, cleaner, doctor, teacher, therapist and all around problem solver. There is more to all of us than only Mom.
